David East
David joined Business Development Services after 36 years with Barclays Bank, where he became the Branch Manager of Chipping Ongar, before joining the Business Corporate Team, based in Chelmsford. After leaving Barclays David became a mentor with Academy of Learning Limited, under a 2 year European funded project, becoming involved with small/medium businesses. During his time with them, in 2002 he also joined Business Development Services and has played an active part in furthering the Enterprise Agency culture, at Braintree, Saffron Walden and Great Dunmow.
Following a SFEDI accreditation in February 2006 he moved to Member status with the Institute of Business Advisors (he frequently attends meetings held by the local East of England regional branch to further his CPD) and has a degree in Banking.
Over the years David has dealt with a vast range of businesses (and their owners) and is therefore well suited to his work at BDS.
